I own a retail site. I want to start an affiliate program. There are plenty of sites/software out there that I can sign up with: CJ, Google Affiliate, Pepperjam, Linkshare, Shareasale, etc. However, I want to create an in house program. The main reason I want to do this is b/c the companies I mentioned below strip the publisher links of any back-link value. Has anyone set up something on their own and what sort of reporting do you use to make your affiliates feel safe?
