He explained that he is creating ads for some kind of affiliate program and making decent money. I don't fully understand the business model from his explanation. I thought affiliate marketers had to have their own sites or blogs to publish the ads, but he said all he does is create the ads and post them on others' web sites with no cost to him. He does invest a lot of time. He says 6 to 8 hours a day creating and posting ads. Much of the material used for the ads is copyrighted (not by him), and feature well known companies, even though the ads are unauthorized by the company. I think the link takes the user to a completely unrelated site. If the company sees the ad, they tell him to remove it, and as long as he complies they drop the issue. What the heck is he talking about? Is this legal? How can a profit be made by advertising for companies that don't want you advertising for them and how is he displaying his ads without having his own site or having to pay for space.
