As with any business, continuing education is mandatory to keep up with all of the changes. Internet marketing is no different. In fact, Internet marketing changes faster than most other types of business.
There are always new methods being discovered. Some of the older methods still work too, while others fade away. Knowing the difference is learned by staying on top of the market. You do that by setting aside at least a few hours each week to study.
Oh, you thought you were done with school? Think again. I live by the rule that if I have not learned at least one thing each day, no matter how small it may appear to be at the time, that day is wasted.
With so many newsletters, blogs, eBooks, online and offline newspapers, all that require reading, it is no wonder that so many people end up wearing glasses. They stare at a computer monitor for so long that it causes eye strain.
While spending all that time reading, there are other things we can be doing while listening to our weakly lessons. Do not worry about missing important information. Our brains can handle many sources at once. It then determines which is most important at the time.
So while you are checking your email, updating your website, dusting the office, washing dishes or doing a host a other things that not only create little noise, they can be done within hearing range of the audio device you use to play the lessons. It would be much the same as listening to music while you are getting other things done.
Just keep a note pad handy so that when you hear an idea you want to remember, grab your pen and write a quick note. You can then return to what you are doing.
A good source for audio books covering many topics, is Leisure Audio Books. Their website is like a searchable online library with a wealth of knowledge just waiting to be heard.
Instead of spending so much time reading books, you can listen
to them and be more productive while expanding your mind at the
same time.
