I hope your July 4th was fun and you still have all your fingers! Aside from Sundays, holidays are usually the only days I get away from the computer. It sure was great to relax for a few hours and I hope you did too.
Some people did not take much time off. I know because even on holidays, I get support requests. The more urgent ones I take care of and let the others wait until the next day.
That is part of claiming your independence. Sure there are still things to do but being able to walk away from them is much better than waiting to punch a time clock. Days get pretty long when being self employed but I would not trade that for a J.O.B. where I would be limited to the income potential and freedom to take off without requesting permission.
One of the things I did today, aside from handling a large number of requests like it was Monday, was add another page to the site. This one focuses on Internet Marketing books from Amazon. While setting it up I realized that there are so many more books than we usually hear or read about.
The link is on the menu now and appropriately named Internet Marketing Books. Remember though that although most of those will be printed, some can also be eBooks. All of them are discounted though. While going through the descriptions, there will be links to show the price for new and also how many are used.
If you prefer eBooks, you can search for them on two of the largest sites: eBay and ClickBank. Of course, shopping them separately can take a while. What if you could shop both sites from the same site? How would that help you?
One site that I have not focused much advertising time on, but is very handy, is FirstStopShopping.com. Designed by Dave’s Cool Little Website and completely managed through a custom control panel, I have enjoyed not only customizing the site, but using it too.
