These are some tips that I came across and are not yet on the website. If you already have a MySpace account, now would be a good time to update your page using the tips below.
If you want some ideas on how to get more traffic from MySpace, read on and check out my site at http://www.myspace.com/websitemanagers
* About me *
This is the introduction to your MySpace page. It should include a list of your services, along with something to make that page personal. Tell us about your life experiences and how they tie into your current profession. That will let others know how and why you are qualified in your chosen industry.
Who I’d like to meet
Add the names of all the authors of eBooks and software that you own. Do not include company names, individual names only. That way when people search for those names, your site will be included in the list.
Classified Ads
Use the classified ads frequently, but remember to change your ads and the city you post in. When you finish posting an ad, the system will revert to the last city you were in, providing you have not cleared your cookies.
Those who are promoting foreclosure prevention services and other USA-based products can post an ad in all major cities in the USA. Change a word in the ad title and alter the body just enough to be different than the others. You can check on all your currently running ads in any city by clicking the link, My Ads, in the upper right corner of the screen, right next to the Post Ad link.
Note that the system will not show all your ads in every location at once. To locate all of your ads, click the Classifieds link on top, then enter your MySpace username in the Search Classifieds box. Choose the category you most likely submitted your ads in, such as SERVICES.
Are you selling a product that is not limited to the USA? Try going International to expand your reach. At the top of the classifieds, click Change City and choose an area in Canada, UK, Spain, Ireland, Australia (AU), Europe or Asia.
Items such as eBooks, downloadable music, software and other items that do not involve shipping can be listed in the International sections. That is of course, unless you want to ship to other countries.
I hope these tips have sparked some ideas for you. As always, I welcome your feedback and requests for various topics that you would like me to write about.
Until next time, have an awesome week!
